This morning we had an early start when we hosted our local rivals Langholm Girls Football Club.

The opening exchanges were pretty even, with both teams creating chances. However Heston took the lead 20 minutes in, when the ball broke to Bonnie following a corner and she finished well.
Langholm then finished the half strongly and were unlucky not to go in on level terms

Halftime 1-0

The second half started similarly to the first with both teams creating chances, but it was Heston who scored again when Sophie finished exceptionally from a very tight angle (she swears she meant it ?).
However, Langholm reduced the deficit 5 minutes later when they finished well from long range.
The final goal of the game, came 5 minutes from time when the ball broke at the edge of the box to Bonnie who finished with her weaker left foot by lobbing the goal keeper

Final score 3-1

Bonnie protected the defence solidly , aswell as coming up with a couple of fantastic strikes today. A complete performance ??
