New Management for South Team

By Derek Douglas

Somerville Returns to Rovers

Heston are delighted to announce the new Management structure for the upcoming Season.
Kevin Somerville returns to the club to take over the manager/head coach role.
Kevin moved swiftly to add to his backroom staff bringing in Scott Hardie, Neil Sturrock & Connor McGeorge.
Kevin has already had a meeting with last Seasons squad and Signing talks are ongoing and more news will appear as and when it happens.
Speaking to Heston Media Kevin added'I'm delighted to be back at Heston. I had a great spell here with Raymond Boyd and we managed to pick up some silverware. This is something Neil, Scott, Connor and I will be working hard to emulate with the current squad. The run of form in the second half of the season under Strutso and Craigy showed that this group are more than capable of competing at this level and we will work hard in pre season to ensure we get a bright start.
Credit must go to Strutso and Craigy. Their legacy is a squad with a brilliant attitude, togetherness and a desire to get on the ball and play. This gives us a great foundation to build on. The success and development of the younger age groups at the club gives us real excitement for the future with a number of talented players due to progress to the senior team in coming years. It's an exciting time to return to the club, the committee are as hard working as ever and the group of players are committed to improving'
