Dear Parent,

Most of you will know by now of my decision to step down as your coach. This has been a very difficult decision for me to make, but one for purely personal reasons.

As a founder player of Heston Rovers, I would like to say it’s been an honour to have worked with a great group of kids, I could not have asked for any better, they’re conduct on and off the pitch has been brilliant, they have all been perfect representatives of their club, and you like me, can be so proud of them for that. Having worked with them now for 5/6 years I have seen them grow and develop into well mannered, and well behaved Heston Rovers Players. Yes that’s right I did say (well mannered, and well behaved)

So thank you all for the support over the years and for allowing me to shout once and a while at your kids, it’s been great fun. (Not the shouting part) I hope they have enjoyed it as much as I have and I wish them all every success in football or whatever sport they choose to pursue.

I will not be disappearing, when I have time I will of course come and be their Number One Supporter

So they should Keep up the good work, train hard and “Play Fair”

Lenze Tournament

This year we are sending the Colts team to play in the Lenze Tournoment. Our team has been entered in the Annan tournament which is on Sat 20th June.

Trophy Night

Venue : Georgetown Community Centre
Time 7-midnight
No tickets required (free). Parents and friends to bring own drink and food. Small shop open for lemonade and snacks for the kids in the kitchen area.
Seat on a first come, first served basis.

Hamilton Update
24 Nov 2008

Would all boys playing at Hamilton this coming Saturday please ask their parents to inform me Mon / Tues of the numbers that plan to join us at the Premier Football Match so that i can inform the club and arrange seat. Adults £22, Boys playing are Free.

We have to be in Hamilton for 12:15 therefore please meet at the Maryfield for 10:30 so that we can leave together and if required share transport.

Please make sure you are wearing your Heston kit (no other team colours please)

The 3G Astro surface is like grass, therefore football boots will be required as well as training shoes.

You must also bring food for lunch and a change of cloths in case of poor weather.
