I regret to inform you that the Football Festival has been cancelled. We the committee believe that with
the Crichton venue not being available to use, we could not deliver a festival to the standard of previous ones.
This decision was not taken lightly by the club as we were aware it had become a very popular event on
the youth football calendar. The festival involved over 120 teams from England and Northern Ireland as well as Scotland, but in the end Crichton FC said we cannot use their leased facility.
The weekend the 12th and 13th of August would have again been kind to us weather wise, apart from some
slight rain on the Sunday morning.
We will be back next year!!!
