HESTON MERGER FOR  UNDER 17s SQUAD

You may already be aware that Heston had been considering a pathway into senior adult football for our under 17 squads and an opportunity has now arisen to do this.  We have merged with local adult team Dumfries FC (who are based at Norfolk Park, Glencaple).   There are many conditions attached to this merger that will benefit this club long-term but it does involve Dumfries FC changing their name and colours to Heston Rovers FC with immediate effect. We were admitted into the Southern Counties FA at their recent AGM and therefore Heston Rovers FC will be playing in the Southern Counties league in the coming season.  Home games will be played for one further season at Glencaple until the Maryfield pitches are prepared and drained.  Extra help and support from parents would be appreciated in any capacity to ensure that this venture is successful for the club - anyone who wishes to contribute in any capacity (shop, grass cutting , pitch markings, ground maintenance etc) should contact Scott McGill or Mark Phillips.

ANNUAL GENERAL  MEETING

This year’s AGM was held on Sunday 18th May with a good turnout.  Thank you to all who attended.

QUEEN OF  THE  SOUTH

A huge thank you is due to Trish and Hugh Barbour for organising the coaches for both trips to Hampden.  These trips were subsidised by the Club and allowed members to benefit from two fantastic days out.  Get ready for next year!!

LITTER

It has been brought to our attention that there was a considerable amount of litter left outside the Community Centre after the Presentation Night.  This must not happen and all litter should be placed in litter bins/bags.  Members are also reminded that no litter should be left at Maryfield during training or football matches.  Many hands make light work!!!

MONTHLY SUBS
