Heston Rovers YFC were formed in 1978 and celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2003. In 2003 we held a football festival at the
Crichton campus, we have now held this most successful event for 3 years. HRYFC are based at Maryfield playing fields in Dumfries and are
run by a committee of volunteers and coaches for the benefit of developing children and youths from age 5 - 16 years into skilled footballers.
The club is a full member of the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA) and the local Dumfries and Galloway Youth Football
Development Association (DGYFDA). The clubs coaches are SFA  certified and trained to deliver coaching sessions to SFA standards and
requirements. We also have trained personnel who are able to deliver basic first-aid in the event of minor injuries happening.
The weekly training sessions take place at Maryfield every Saturday morning from 10:00hrs to 11:30hrs and costs only £8 per calendar
month, payable on the first Saturday of each month. £10 for 2 children in the same family and £12 for 3+.
Club sweatshirts bags and jackets can also be obtained from the Club Secretary on request at minimal cost. Members must purchase
their official socks and shorts from the club which will be yours to keep. (The club will supply tops for games). See Club Shop for further official merchandise. The club colours are black and white.
Throughout the year, the Club will participate in many football festivals and competitions all over the country and clu b members may be
selected to participate as appropriate. The club is managed by a hard working committee who meet on a regular basis at The Five Arches
to discuss business and planning. The AGM is held in May each year. The Club re-invests all monies raised through membership fees,

Did You Know..... the current Heston Rovers logo was designed by player Gary Kerr in a competition held by the club in1996.
