Heston Rovers FC is a Dumfries based club founded in 1978 to provide football for boys in the local community.
The club has continued to grow in recent years and now has over 300 members - with an over 40s section too!
Heston Rovers were the first Dumfries Club to be awarded the Scottish FA's Quality Mark.
The club has expanded to include an adult team resulting in Heston Rovers FC entering a team in the Southern Counties League in June 2008 after merging with Dumfries FC.
The club does not regard itself as a football 'academy' or indeed a 'centre of excellence' - we will leave that to the professional clubs. We do however give kids of all abilities a chance to start out in football.
The club is managed by volunteers and a hard working committee who meet on a monthly basis.
Our AGM is held in Dumfries in May each year and our Club Constitution document can be found on this website under club documents. The miniumum age for joining the club was recently reviewed by the committee and we will now accept applications from children who have started primary school. Please enquire via our website or visit the clubhouse in person on a saturday morning between 10am and 11.30am.
